What Is Lottery ?
The lottery is one of the gambling forms that consists of randomly drawing numbers to win interesting prizes. In some countries, lotteries seem to be unlawful, while others accept lottery and organize lottery at a national or state scale with government control. How Many Types Of Lottery ?
There are three main types of lottery 4D, Toto, and Singapore Sweep. Each type is operated differently.
4D (stands for 4 Digits) comes from Germany, Singapore, and Malaysia and this is a fixed-odds game. After experiencing many events in history, in 1986, 4D was taken over by Singapore Pools. The 4D result will be announced at 6.30pm (SG time) on every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Toto (est. in 1968) is a legitimate lottery form that is sold in Singapore. However, when Toto is in another place, it also has another name. Until April 2015, Toto has become the second most admired type of gambling, the first in 4D. The same as 4D, Toto is organized and controlled by Singapore Pools. The players can buy Toto in all Singapore Pools outlets throughout Singapore. Toto result will be drawn at 6.30pm (SG time) every Monday, Thursday. However, the players can view the live Toto draw at the main Singapore Pools Branch at 210 Middle Road. The owner of Singapore Pools – the Singapore Totalizer Board will spend all the profit of Toto on charity and other legitimate work.
Singapore Sweep is another type of lottery. Singapore was formed in 1969. It is also controlled by the Singapore Pools. Different to two other types, Singapore Sweep results will be drawn on the first Wednesday of each month.
Singapore Pools is the 1st legitimate 4D organization in which the Singapore Government allows operating in the lottery industry. Its reputation is not only in Singapore but also in the surrounding areas. Singapore Pools is the only lawful lottery supplier in Singapore. The most well-known names in the gambling industry are 4D and Lottery.
How To Play 4D ?
To play 4D, each player takes any number between 0000 and 9999. The minimum price is $1, consist of GST. As mention above, the 4D result will be announced on every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday at 6.30pm. In each draw, 23 numbers which are in 5 prize categories are drawn to be the winning numbers. If the number which the player selects, is one of the winning numbers, the player wins.
How To Play TOTO ?
The players will select at least six numbers from 1 to 49. The lowest price is $1, GST included. Toto result is announced at 6.30pm every Monday and Thursday. In toto, seven numbers will be drawn in each draw, including six winning numbers and an Additional number. If the players have at least three numbers which are matched the winning numbers, they win. In case the players have more than 3 winning numbers, the prize money is also raised. The jackpot prize is for the players who have 6 numbers in their ticket similar to 6 drawn numbers (except the additional number).
How To Play Singapore Sweep ?
The players buy the Singapore Sweep from the Singapore Pools outlets or national authorized retailers. Each ticket costs $3 and there are 3.5 million tickets for sale. The Singapore Sweep Result will be drawn on the first Wednesday of each month at 6 pm, so you must buy the tickets before 6 pm. On each Singapore Sweep announcement, there are 19 seven-digit numbers drawn. If your ticket number matches one of 19 seven-digit winning numbers, your minimum prize $1,000 and it can be up to $2.3 million. Besides that, the players can win with a small prize if the final two digits of your ticket number match any of the nine winning two-digit numbers drawn. If you win, your prize is $6.
